MISSION is to advance the public’s awareness, understanding and appreciation of ecosystems through education.

VISION is to become a prominent supporter of outdoor and environmental education within the Haliburton Highlands and surrounding area.

PURPOSE is to garner financial resources and provide tools in support of educational projects and programs that promote the responsible use and management of ecosystems.

The 7 Objectives of F.E.E.L.
  1. To seek sustainable resources in support of the current, short and long-term goals of FEEL.
  2. To maintain the status of FEEL as a charitable organization as a means to assist with collecting funds in support of FEEL initiatives.
  3. To support other community organizations and businesses in the delivery of outdoor and environmental education programs.
  4. To promote community participation in FEEL sponsored projects and programs.
  5. To foster information sharing and networking among groups and organizations having an interest in outdoor and environmental education.
  6. To support projects, programs, events, publications, film, video, multi-media and interpretive materials that focus on ecosystems and watersheds.
  7. To assist with the transfer of environmental and ecological information including research that focuses on ecosystems and watersheds.
