Basil Conlin will be presenting the concept of Rewilding for your listening pleasure. He will cover topics such as: What is rewilding; the benefits of; how to rewild your own yard or outdoor space.

About Baz: "a lifelong naturalist with a passion for sharing his love of nature with others. He grew up in Peterborough amongst tallgrass prairie and oak savannah remnants, went to Trent University for Conservation Biology, and worked as a seasonal naturalist in Algonquin Park for several summers and falls. Now he owns a small native plant nursery called 'Haliburton Micromeadows', located in Minden. The nursery opened in spring 2024 with the goal of making sustainable landscaping more accessible to gardeners in the area to prevent new invasive species from spreading. In his spare time, Basil can be found observing moths and other nocturnal insects that he records and submits to iNaturalist."
