A rare plant in the highlands, only occurring in a few scattered locations. The leaves form a whorl-like pattern that is very unique and great for the edges of forest paths. Prefers acidic, loamy soil. Grow with Bunchberry, Canada Mayflower, and Large-leaved Aster.
