Pre-order Native Plants and Register for Workshops
Friends of Ecological and Environmental Learning (FEEL) invites you to deepen your connection with nature. Building on the popular native plant sale, this event features hands-on workshops, demos, and presentations. Shop potted native plants, get expert advice from ecologists, and connect with local environmental organizations—all in one place!
FEEL (Friends of Ecological and Environmental Learning) is a grassroots, Haliburton-based not-for-profit charity whose mission is to promote water stewardship for children, youth and the community by building awareness, understanding, and appreciation of watershed health through experiential education.
FEEL financially supports the Haliburton-Muskoka-Kawartha Children's Water Festival (HMKCWF), an annual 2-day event that teaches and motivates 800 elementary students a year to be water stewards in their classroom, homes and community.
Our Sustainable Shores & Garden Event provides community members the opportunity to discoverand engage with amazing environmental grassroots organizations, learn or expand base knowledge by participating in one of the numerous workshops and demos happening throughout the day, and buy green by purchasing high-quality genetically local native plant species for your green space, home or cottage.
Net proceeds of the plant sale directly support FEEL's operation of the annual Haliburton-Muskoka-Kawartha Children's Water Festival (HMKCWF), and its affiliated community events.
